Happy New Year!

Welcome back to the podcast. I hope you enjoyed the Holiday Practice Specials and are off to a great 2018.  We have some amazing conversations and interviews coming up for you, but this first episode of the year is really a special one for me. I connect with one of my first teachers, Richard Freeman, after about a 5 year break since last seeing him and am so pleased to be able to share it with you…

Richard Freeman, yogi, author, teacher and student, joins Kathryn on today’s podcast to chat about the evolution of the art of yoga.  Richard is one of Kathryn’s first and most influential teachers.  Their conversation covers how Richard came to find the practice in its various forms, yoga, Ashtanga and their Western trajectory since the late 60s, sexual assault and the world today, cross-training, where mythology meets science, and, inquiry and mindfulness as they relate to movement and life.
