Strength and Mobility Practiced in a Mindful, and Embodied Way (formerly known as Cornwall Yoga Studio)
What is Mindful Strength?
Mindful Strength is a type of movement developed by Kathryn Bruni-Young, that blends strength with mobility, and mindfulness. Different exercises, poses, stretches, and movements are combined with self massage, and bodywork to leave students feeling awake, and restored. Classes at the studio are open to all levels, ages, and sizes. Kathryn has over ten years of teaching experience, and her subs have all been trained by her, and other amazing teachers. Classes often follow a certain theme, anything from upper body strength, to hip movement, core strength, overall stability, and general rehabilitation. Each class is different, and is tailored to the people in the room. New students are welcome to come try a drop-in class free of charge.
The downtown Cornwall studio will be closing at the end on January, Kathryn will be continuing in Williamstown in the new year in a limited capacity. For the full story click here.

Join the Mindful Strength six-week session, and learn to move well, while building strength and mobility. Students must sign up for the full session, and only 8 spaces are available. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a water bottle if needed. Kathryn has a small studio space in her house, with a private entrance, and bathroom.

What You Need to Know About Classes
The studio opens 15 minutes before each class, you may take this time to come in and warm up, relax or chat with the instructor about questions or concerns.
The last 5 minutes of class is spent in quiet relaxation. We ask that students don’t pack up and leave at this time, if you have to leave early please depart before the relaxation begins.
We have everything you need from mats to props. Students are encouraged to bring a mat and water bottle if they have them.
Saturday Dec 9th and Tuesday Dec 12th classes will be cancelled. Kathryn will be back on Wednesday Dec 13th.
