He talks about his experience strength coaching retired individuals, and how strength and fitness training can make a world of difference in a person’s life. He also gives some ideas of how teachers and coaches might approach teaching functional movement to an aging population. Kathryn and Dane get to nerd out on certain aspects of strength training, they talk about deadlifts and how strengthening the body has a profound effect on functional daily tasks.
